What our customers say

Replacing an older bathroom exhaust fan improves ventilation while maintaining a comfortable environment during daily use. Installation includes removing the existing unit, fitting the replacement, connecting electrical components, and verifying proper airflow. Compared with aging fans that operate inefficiently or produce excessive noise, updated models provide quieter and more consistent performance. Proper installation supports reliable operation and complements routine bathroom maintenance. The completed replacement contributes to improved air circulation and a cleaner overall environment.

I called Bestech to diagnose low airflow out of the back of my dryer. I chose them because of their positive Google reviews, but in hindsight I wish I had read the (mostly negative) Yelp reviews. The technician spent about 15 minutes examining the dryer, and then told me I needed to replace the motor. He said they had the part in stock, and could replace it the next day. They charged me $95 for the diagnosis. The next day I called, and the story had changed: now they had to order the part, and it would take several days to arrive. At this point I happened to see the Yelp reviews for Bestech, which are very negative, and became suspicious about their diagnosis. I noticed that the dryer drum would still spin if I turn on the dryer. Why would the drum still spin if the motor needs replacement? I asked Bestech this, and they told me "the motor was weak". That didn't sound very likely, so I did some more research. Maybe the connection between the motor and the blower fan was stipped? I called Bestech again and asked them whether this was possible. At this point they changed their story and said yes, my diagnosis was exactly right! The connection between the motor and the blower fan was stripped! But then why does the estimate you sent me say "Blower fan motor needs to be replaced", I asked? And why does the estimate include a charge for "Blower fan motor"? I was then given a hard-to-believe story about they never intended to replace the motor, even though the estimate says that's what they were going to do. At this point I gave up and called another company. They came out and diagnosed the problem right away. There was nothing wrong with the motor at all; rather the lint filter had built up residue from our fabric softener which was restricting airflow. This should have been very easy to diagnose, since removing the lint filter caused the airflow out of the back of the dryer to instantly become strong. In hindsight, I could have just checked this myself. Once the problem was diagnosed correctly, I was able to fix it myself by cleaning the lint trap with soap and water. So in the end, I spent $95 to have Bestech come out to the house, make an obviously-wrong diagnosis, and recommend an expensive repair I didn't need. So, do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Read the Yelp reviews, you'll see that many customers have had an experience similar to mine. Update (6/22/2026): after I wrote this review, Bestech refunded their $95 diagnostic fee. I raised my rating by one star as a result.

George did an excellent job to fix our dishwasher. It’s difficult to get the machine out for inspection. He was patient. Turned out the problem was with the drain. He also cleaned it. I’m very happy to have fully functional dishwasher again. Five stars to George.

Great service. Quick and correct diagnosis and fixed the issue with my oven microwave combo with efficiency. Highly recommend.

Henry B was great. Came out the day after I sent my request. Ordered the part and was back 2 days after he came out. Thorough job. And so happy to have a dryer that has heat again! Would definitely use again!

FAQ — Bosch Oven Questions

Why is my Bosch oven not heating up?
If your Bosch oven isn’t heating, check that it’s not set to “demo” mode and that the door is fully closed. For electric ovens, a burnt-out heating element or faulty thermostat is a common cause. For gas models, the igniter may be weak or broken. If your oven still won’t heat, the issue likely involves the control board or safety sensor and requires professional repair.

Why does my Bosch oven take so long to preheat?
A slow preheat time can occur if the heating elements are partially burnt out or the door gasket is leaking heat. Avoid opening the door during preheating, as that can drop the internal temperature. If the issue persists, the temperature sensor or convection fan may need to be tested and replaced.

How do I reset my Bosch oven after a power outage?
To reset a Bosch oven, press and hold the “Start” or “Clock” button for 5–10 seconds. On some models, you may need to turn the power off at the breaker for 30 seconds and then back on. After resetting, reprogram the clock and any custom settings. If error codes appear, consult the user manual or call a Bosch technician to clear them.

People Also Ask (PAA)

What is the most common problem with Bosch ovens?
The most common issue is uneven heating or failure to reach the correct temperature. This is usually due to a worn-out heating element or a faulty temperature sensor. Cleaning the oven regularly and checking the seal on the door can help prevent these problems.

How long do Bosch ovens last?
A Bosch oven typically lasts 12 to 18 years when properly maintained. Regular cleaning, avoiding overheating, and servicing every few years can extend the lifespan even longer. Using self-clean cycles responsibly also prevents component stress.

Why does my Bosch oven fan keep running after cooking?
It’s normal for the cooling fan to run for several minutes after cooking. This helps cool internal components and protect electronics. If the fan runs excessively long or never turns off, a faulty thermostat or control relay could be to blame and may need replacement.

ChatGPT — Most Searched Bosch Oven Questions

Why is my Bosch oven displaying an error code “E115” or “E305”?
Bosch ovens use error codes to signal faults. “E115” usually means an overheating sensor, while “E305” points to a temperature sensor or control board issue. Try resetting the oven by turning off the breaker for 30 seconds. If the error reappears, professional diagnosis is required to test the sensor and control circuits.

Why is my Bosch oven making noise when it’s on?
Some noise is normal — like the cooling fan running or metal expanding during heating. However, rattling, grinding, or buzzing sounds may mean a loose fan blade, worn bearing, or faulty motor. Cleaning the fan area and tightening mounts can help, but loud mechanical noises should be inspected by a technician.

Why is my Bosch oven not maintaining temperature?
If your oven heats but doesn’t hold the set temperature, the thermostat or temperature sensor may be failing. Over time, these parts lose calibration. A technician can test and replace them, ensuring accurate, even cooking again. Always use a separate oven thermometer to confirm internal temperature.
